The Trade Union Congress centre in London was looking to refresh an area within the building that was often used to host events either within the organisation or for hire. The previous configuration of the space was dated and not user friendly. Elite Contracting LTD worked with Drewmark Building Services to refurbish the area to suit the growing needs of the congress centre. This enabled them to offer more flexibility to their clients, and the edition of RGBW Linear lights meant the area could be colour branded for clients. Works took place over the centers summer shut down, and was completed on time. Work was also carried out within the main Congress hall to install a new LED lighting scheme in replacement of dated lighting. General works included:

Electrical

  • New power distribution to the Congress Suite
  • New small power for exhibition stands
  • New power provision for AV systems
  • New 63A TPN power supply for temporary kitchen facilities
  • Installation of new RGBW linear and spot LED lighting scheme
  • Installation of new Control 4 lighting system

HVAC

  • Removal and relocation of existing wall mounted air conditioning systems
  • Replacement of existing fresh air and extract duct grills
